- Chop onions, french beans, carrot, potato lengthwise and Soak the rice in 3 cups of water and keep aside.
- Heat a pressure cooker with oil for 2-3 mins then add mustard seeds,jeera and ginger garlic paste. Saute for few seconds and add spices and green chilies, saute for few more seconds till it becomes aromatic.
- Now add onions and saute for couple of minutes till onion become tender, make sure onions are not over cooked.
- Now add all the chopped veggies and peas. Saute for 5 minutes on low flame
- Add soaked rice along with water.
- Add garam masala (you can also use biryani masala) and salt as required.
- Mix well and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
- Hot and yummy veg biryani is ready to serve with raitha.
